Thank you, sweets. Yeah...it's been a YEAR dealing with this and I finally found a doctor who has figured it out.

My ankle is literally....floppy. Weirdness and PAINFUL.

Thank god for this surgery, actually. It's light at the end of my tunnel. It'll be probably another 3 months at least before I'm out of a walking device tho.

it's probably floppy because it's out of joint

Basically...what's happening is the ligament holds the bones together, etc. So the ligament is torn and stretched out. Once it's stretched out...there is no going back. It will basically be pulled tighter, sewn, and then "nailed" or posted into the bone.

The two ligaments involved are my ATFL and my PTFL.

Probably too much info...but yeah.
