| Nah. Wolfenstein was kind of a "maybe" thing, but... I saw the trailer and it's absolutely horrible. Made my favorite FPS game into a Call of Duty clone with some unreal occult shit added in. Very bad. They fucking added iron sights. I don't fucking need iron sights. All I need is a fucking dot crosshair that stays still, and I don't need the player view to be all wobbly like his legs are made of cookie dough. Freaking Call of Duty made a trend and ruined everything. Why didn't they just stick to Return To Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Those games are the shit. FPS gaming fun. Not this new wobbly and as random as possible crap.
I mean, okay, Wolfenstein was always about the nazi and the occult, but it was made awesome, skeletons, zombies and electrocutions and shit, but to add a whole new level of gameplay with using some sort of weird satanic pendant or whatever... shit... just shit. It's a really cheap trick so people would check the game out.
Without the occult/another dimension crap, it would really be just another Call of Duty and nobody would give a shit.
They shouldn't have named it "Wolfenstein". They should've named it "Call of Duty: [insert number, loosely based on wolfenstein]

| No i did read it actually. The new Wolfenstien game looks like a huge pile of shit. It's like what they did to Bionic Commando. I don't know why they can't just leave our classic games alone and stop trying to remake them in the image of current hits, like Call of Duty. Granted The original Wolfenstien took a lot from Doom in the first place, but no one was complaining. | |

| I'm not telling other people what to anticipate. That was the point, we all discuss what we're anticipating. | |

So you'd rather have no remake of Wolfenstein? You think it should be left alone completely, or would you like to see a remake, but a different one? I would actually love to see a proper remake of Wolfenstein. I guess I'm just being a raging nerd fanboy because I think it doesn't stay true enough to the "original", but a lot of people seem to think like that, and I agree. I said "original", because... I kind of consider Wolfenstein 3D, RTCW, Enemy Territory to be "true" Wolfenstein games, haha. I mean... RTCW was a good progression of a classic game, but this one just looks like shit.

| a GOOD remake that had a classic feel to it would be wonderful. If someone wanted to take the tie to make it quality. I'd be happy with Xboxlive Arcade download for the original for now though. | |

Yes!! A classic feel is absolutely necessary. That watery moving Call of Duty thing + iron sights... just does not work. Completely different feel. RTCW and Enemy Territory still have that boxy feel without looking like tetris, which is really nice. I grew up on those rough types of FPS games shit I type too much, I'll stop.
