Jamie and I met in 7th grade, we had 4 out of 6 classes together and became friends quickly for reason I cannot recall (not a slight against him, I just really don't remember what started our friendship). We've been friends since, and grew up together, essentially being integrated into each other's families. We've seem to drift apart a tad and it's led to some of the open hostility you've seen here. We just don't like each other as much as we used to. It leads to things like me getting smacked when the waitress doesn't like him.
